About Occupational Therapy
Occupational Therapy is a science based profession whose philosophy is based upon the benefits of occupation and activity to maintain health and well-being. Occupations are different to many people; referring to peoples everyday activities which bring meaning and purpose to life...our activities of daily living. It could be something as simple as brushing your teeth, preparing a meal, getting dressed, going out for a walk or getting back to employment.
No matter what holds you back from these activities being unable to carry out activities is scientifically proven to lead to further ill health and difficulties.
